Hi! I am Cathy Bolívar, a Panamanian textile designer passionate about nature, culture, and everything that makes us better human beings. In 2020, I founded Tropical Indigo, a textile design studio, with the mission of creating high-quality textiles that convey the identity and cultural richness of our country to the world. I work with local plants and 100% natural fibers, using ancestral techniques of natural dyeing and printing inherited from the indigenous cultures of America. Through my creations, I seek to highlight the colors and culture of our land, generating well-being for all and promoting a sustainable and ethical lifestyle.
